Accountability – As a city leader I have always taken seriously the responsibility of holding myself and the city accountable for ethical conduct, transparency, measured results and fiscal accountability to the whole community.  I will continue to do so as your Councilmember.

 

Commitment to the Community – I am committed to actively listen to you before any decision comes before to City Council. By engaging in open and respectful conversations, I will make sure that your voices are heard and that every decision keeps the best interest of our whole community at the forefront.

 

Curiosity and Humility – When making decisions that affect us all, I believe it's vital to seek diverse perspectives, particularly by drawing on the collective knowledge of subject matter experts within our city staff and the broader community.  I also strive for continuous improvement in decision-making, ensuring knowledge is applied effectively to achieve the greatest benefit for our community.

Empathy – I believe it is important to recognize the unique and evolving challenges each of us face in life.  By meeting each other where we are in the moment, and connecting residents with city and community resources when needed, we foster a stronger, more cohesive community.
